OPPO partners Qualcomm for making 5G cell phones
Chinese smart phone manufacturer Oppo today (Monday) declared a joint venture with the chipmaker Qualcomm, where Qualcomm would assist Oppo to produce 5G-ready smart phones.
Within the "5G Pioneer Initiative", Qualcomm provides extensive solutions like the radio frequency front end field to Chinese smart phone manufacturer Oppo, it had been announced at the Qualcomm Technology Day 2018 in China.
"In the foreseeable future, Oppo will continue steadily to spend money on groundbreaking technology such as 5G and Artificial Cleverness, and apply these to products scenario predicated on the primary demands of users," Oppo CEO, Tony Chen said throughout a panel conversation.
Oppo programs to release 5G cell phones in 2019.

Oppo said they have taken part as the only smart phone producer and made efforts to the 5G-standard formula.
